SIP Customs announced the “10 new measures” on Oct 24 to give integrated circuits enterprises stronger support in R&D and market exploration.

The new measures mark an upgrade of another ten measures that SIP Customs instituted last year with the aim of promoting high-quality development of the IC industry. Over the past year, the IC sector in SIP has maintained a year-on-year growth in import and export volumes monthly, with the growth rate exceeding double digits for six consecutive months.
The new measures were designed based on the latest policies and initiatives of SIP and those implemented across Suzhou. These measures feature more innovative supervision modes, optimized services and more precise support, such as further simplified inspection process, faster review for tax reliefs and more effective risk control.
